UCF Natural Lands and SORBA Orlando teamed up over a year ago to transform trails in the UCF Arboretum and around Lake Claire to be mountain bike friendly. The goal was to apply IMBA standards on the existing trail system to create an experience that's both inviting to beginners with options for skilled riders to enjoy. Working within with Covid-19 safety guidelines and volunteer hours from SORBA members plus the Adventure Cycling staff, we continued to slowly make progress on campus. Together we've designed an 8.5 mile route and now have the land manager's support to responsibly lead the "UCF Knight Ride" Monday's at 7pm.
